eBay joins the Midwinter Ball

eBay Australia joined the parliamentary community in Canberra for the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery’s Midwinter Ball.

The annual event brings together parliamentarians, journalists and business representatives for an evening that combines entertainment and connection with fundraising for charitable organisations. It is an opportunity to recognise the work these organisations do and the difference that collective support can make.

eBay’s association with the Ball stretches back more than a decade and has included support for its online charity auctions. That history reflects the role a marketplace can play in connecting people not only with products, but also with causes they care about.

For eBay, the occasion provides an opportunity to connect with the parliamentary community beyond the day-to-day policy agenda. Strong relationships and open dialogue are an important foundation for sharing the experiences of the Australians who buy, sell and build businesses online.
