Yes, and we’re proud of it. According to a recent article by Greg Casey, President and CEO of The Business Industry Political Action Committee (BIPAC), “Every American is part of one special interest or another, whether as a group or as an individual. The right to be a special interest is written into everyone\'s Constitutional right to petition government…” So don’t be afraid to ask your lawmakers to support the issues that matter most to you. Counterfeit Goods not Welcome at eBay

eBay CEO eBay CEO John Donahoe (in Strasbourg) shares the success of the company’s anti-counterfeit efforts with EU Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy. eBay called on EU regulators, brandowners, law enforcement and consumers to team up and take a significant step forward in beating fraudsters selling counterfeit goods.

eBay CEO Shares Counterfeit Findings in EU

eBay CEO John Donahoe met in Strasbourg last week with EU Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy to share the success of eBay’s anti-counterfeit efforts. Donahoe handed over the eBay report entitled, “Fighting against Online Solicitations of Counterfeits,” outlining the scale of the counterfeit problem on the Internet and stating that only 0.15% of a total of 2.7 billion listings on eBay were identified as potentially counterfeit (and removed) thanks to our advanced anti-counterfeit program.
