Fernando Cubillas founded De Billas Luxury in 2015 as a way to make some extra money. A financial advisor by day, Fernando would work on gold-plating items such as Apple and Samsung watches in his free time to sell on eBay. As the demand for his products steadily grew, Fernando shifted his focus to De Billas Luxury full time. He moved from working out of his garage to opening up an office lab to increase his production in 2017. Today, although Fernando still does some financial advising, his main source of income is De Billas Luxury. Although the business started out as a hobby for Fernando, its consistent growth has made him a leader in such a niche market. He not only sells custom Apple and Samsung products on his eBay site, but Fernando also offers gold-plating services on a variety of products. Fernando’s wife, brother, and friend help him operate the business.
