We are excited to announce that Denzel Singletary has joined the eBay Government Relations team and will lead our Small Business Ambassador Network (SBAN) program. Denzel joins eBay after spending nearly five years with United States Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). As a key member of her legislative team, Denzel was responsible for leading several of Senator Gillibrand’s landmark accomplishments, including the designation of The Stonewall Inn as a National Historic Site, and the passage of the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act. Prior to joining her legislative team, Denzel served as Senator Gillibrand’s Deputy Regional Director in Western New York. In this role, he advanced all regional events, and acted as the primary liaison between the Senator and her constituents in the region. Denzel grew up in Buffalo, New York and received a B.A. in American History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He currently lives in Washington, DC.
Denzel has the perfect background to manage and grow our highly successful SBAN program. Launched in 2013, this global volunteer advocacy effort leverages the success of eBay entrepreneurs from around the world to shape public policy that will protect and promote the hundreds of thousands of small businesses that use eBay. Our Small Business Ambassadors help to ensure that technology, the Internet and the eBay marketplace continue to successfully enable small businesses around the world. If you are an eBay seller who would like to make your voice heard on public policy issues that can directly impact your small business, we would like to hear from you.
