Earlier this month the eBay Government Relations Advocacy & Policy Programs (A&PP) team was named the 2019 Reed Award’s "Corporate Grassroots Organization of the Year" by Campaigns & Elections.  The Reed Awards are the most exacting awards in the political campaign industry. The Reeds recognize excellence in political campaigning, campaign management, political consulting and political design and winners include corporations, associations, political campaigns and individuals.  

The GR A&PP team submitted an extensive nomination form focusing on major advocacy wins throughout 2019 such as our victory in the fight not to lower the US de minimis customs threshold which would have had a severely negative impact on our seller community. The nomination also included highlight of our Small Business Ambassador Network which is very unique in the world of political grassroots activity. At the end of the day, it was the success of our many grassroots campaigns that won us the 2019 award. And those campaigns would absolutely not have been successful without you, the eBay community.
