In April, eBay hosted Congresswoman Anna Eshoo (D-CA) for a Women’s History Month conversation with employees on her experience as a woman leader in both politics and technology. Congresswoman Eshoo represents eBay’s San Jose campus in Congress, and also serves on the powerful Energy and Commerce Committee, which oversees technology policy in Congress.

In May, Scott Schenkel, Cathy Foster and Molly Finn met with Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO) at eBay HQ and had a productive conversation about Internet sales tax, tax reform, and privacy issues. Senator Gardner, a Member of the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, which has jurisdiction over privacy and tech issues, is a strong supporter of small business and our position on Internet sales tax.
