This week US Representative Susan Brooks (R-IN) visited StubHub headquarters to learn more about the company and its public policy priorities.  Rep. Brooks is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over a number of policy issues significant to both StubHub and eBay platform users. StubHub General Counsel Tod Cohen, along with Government Relations team members Mike Dabbs and John Lawrence, had a great conversation with the Congresswoman about the role that the StubHub and eBay platforms play in the marketplace. This discussion included a policy briefing on issues important to both companies, including consumer deception in the ticketing industry, Internet sales tax, and trade.
