Tod Cohen, eBay's Vice President of Global Government Relations, was recently invited to speak at a Breakfast Forum jointly-organized by eBay and the Korea Human Development Institute. The Korea Human Development Institute is an influential research and academic organization.
During the forum, Tod spoke about eBay’s global online exports (Cross Border Trade) and its impact on and benefits to the Korean economy. He also pointed out eBay’s contribution to Korea\'s economy in terms of entrepreneurship, employment opportunities and consumer choice ever since it entered the Korean market a decade ago.
The other speakers were Mr. HWANG, Chul-Jeung, Director General of Korea Communications Commission, and Mr. SHIN, Min Soo, Professor of Hanyang University. More than 200 people representing a cross-section of Korean SMEs and academics attended the Breakfast Forum.
