A new episode of the Main Street Minute, the eBay Government Relations Team’s advocacy video series, has been posted.  This 60-second video updates our viewers on efforts to pass the INFORM Consumers Act, aimed at increasing transparency for online buyers and sellers as states and the federal government tackle organized retail crime.  While eBay supports the updated federal INFORM language, which eases the burden on small businesses and individuals, we remain opposed to a state-by-state patchwork of different requirements.  Check out the video to learn more about our work with the eBay Main Street community to defeat this legislation in states across the country in 2021 and how the fight continues in 2022.  We also encourage you to visit ebaymainstreet.com to learn more about how you can participate in our advocacy efforts.
