Last week StubHub hosted a state legislative roundtable and facility tour at its Connecticut office. The roundtable was attended by members of the CT Legislature and included Senator John Kissel, Senator Kevin Witkos, Representative David Kiner, and CT Assistant Attorney General Robert Clark. The agenda included an important discussion of pertinent public policy issues relating to the future of the industry and the secondary tickets market. The StubHub leadership team in CT was also presented with a citation from the legislature congratulating StubHub for being recognized by the Hartford Courant and Fox-Connecticut as the top place to work in the state.
These discussions helped to solidify our relationships with key members of the legislature and Attorney General’s office as well as lay the groundwork for positive legislative advocacy in the future. More importantly, we were able to demonstrate to these officials the high level of service StubHub delivers to its customers.
