In honor of our company's 20th anniversary, "eBay Day" was officially announced at a City Council Chambers meeting in San Jose this week.

eBay Technical SEO Analyst James Silva attended the second annual LGBT Tech and Innovation Summit in Washington, D.C., along with entrepreneurs and United States CTO Megan Smith.

U.S. Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA/15) visited eBay’s headquarters for a discussion with Tod Cohen, eBay’s Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Government Relations, Asset Protection & Competition Law, and area students currently participating in Leaders for Education, Advocacy, and Democracy (LEAD).

Tod Cohen, eBay’s Vice President of Global Government Relations and Deputy General Counsel, was recently interviewed on eBay Radio to discuss the work of the Global Government Relations team and the public policy issues faced by eBay’s small business community.

As part of eBay’s strategic partnership with the US Department of Commerce (DOC) aimed at promoting US small business trade, eBay recently co-hosted a webinar with the US Commercial Service entitled “3 Surprising Truths About International E-Commerce.”

Last week a delegation from the European Parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO) visited eBay’s headquarters in San Jose, California.

This week, eBay Seller and Small Business Advocate Mac Griffiths represented eBay at an export roundtable in Salt Lake City.

Yesterday eBay Seller Cori O’Steen, owner of UPakNShip (based in South Carolina and California) participated in a hearing entitled, “Targeted Tax Reform: Solutions to Relieve the Tax Compliance Burden(s) for America’s Small Businesses.”
