Last week, three eBay sellers and members of our Small Business Ambassador Network visited Washington, DC, and joined nearly 50 small business owners from Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and New Mexico, for a White House Summit on small business.

Shari Smith of Shari Sells, Collen Rast of Great Sky Gifts and Ryan Wilson of Blind Center of Nevada Electronics, were joined by members of the Biden-Harris Administration, including Small Business Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman, Deputy Secretary Wally Adeyemo of the US Department of Treasury, John Podesta, Senior Advisor to President Biden for International Climate Policy at the White House, and others, to discuss and hear from small business owners about their challenges and opportunities in running small businesses. The Summit touched on access to capital, government contracting, the important role of small business in the green economy, child care and paid leave, and taxes.
