Last week StubHub hosted a state legislative roundtable and facility tour at its Connecticut office.   The roundtable was attended by members of the CT Legislature and included Senator John Kissel, Senator Kevin Witkos, Representative David Kiner, and CT Assistant Attorney General Robert Clark.S

Over the past few months, Congressional supporters of Internet sales taxes have claimed that 2013 is going to be the year when they see a federal Internet sales tax bill passed into law.  Fortunately, supporters of this misguided tax scheme are not the only ones gearing up for a fight on Internet sales taxes.  One of our faithful friends, Senator Ayotte (R-NH), in coordination with Senator Wyden (D-OR), just announced yesterday that she is planning to reintroduce her Congressional Resolution  opposing new sales tax burdens for online retailers.

A new report released today by the World Economic Forum (WEF) highlights the success that eBay small businesses have experienced engaging in cross border trade.

On January 22nd, the Congressional Internet Caucus held its annual State of the Net Conference in Washington DC.  The conference included a session entitled “First Sale and No Resale.”
