PayPal has officially opened the doors to its new customer service and operations center in Chandler, Ariz. The new facility, located at 3000 West One Payment Way, will employ up to 2,000 new employees – which will help to support PayPal customers around the world. Today in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Daniel Lungren (R-CA) and lead Democratic sponsor Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) introduced a bipartisan resolution “Supporting the Preservation of Internet Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses.” This resolution clearly expresses opposition to states imposing new tax burdens on small businesses on the Internet, including requirements to collect and remit sales taxes for out-of-state online purchases.
